Why 5 Free Credits Sabotage Developer Cloud AMD Only five free GPU credits per month force developers to throttle Hermes Agent workloads, adding up to 30% more deployment time. The credit cap creates a hidden bottleneck that slows model initialization, inflates latency, and forces workarounds that erode the promised cost

Deploying Hermes Agent on AMD Developer Cloud for free takes about 15 minutes: provision the free-tier VM, launch the pre-built image, and start serving any open-source LLM without incurring usage charges. The platform’s console automates GPU allocation and IAM provisioning, so you avoid manual scripting. This makes production-grade inference

You can launch Hermes Agent on AMD Developer Cloud for free and cut inference latency from 200 ms to around 100 ms by tuning vLLM parameters. In practice the platform supplies enough EPYC compute and GPU credit to spin up a production-grade workspace, so you never touch a credit card.
